ONCE UPON A time there was Tyrannosaurus Rex. In the days immediately following flower-power, rockanroll music was getting very sweaty around the edges. What with the Cream, Jimi Hendrix, Julie Driscoll and Brian Auger, the Crazy World of Arthur Brown, the Blues Boom and enough bizarre West Coast import albums to choke a horse or Bob Harris, we needed a little touch of acoustic whimsy to balance out our musical diet.
