SUCH A CIVILISED BAND. You may think this is no way to run a review but I'm going to quote all the words to one of Talking Heads' songs, 'The Big Country'. What strikes me on seeing them in cold print for the first time (there's no lyric sheet) is their matt-finish simplicity:
