Teddy Dan: United States Of Africa (Rootsman)
Penny Reel, Black Echoes, December 1994
IT IS CURIOUS how, having lain dormant in reggae music throughout the length of the Eighties, Rasta ideology should once again be making its presence felt during the early years of this present decade. Currently, there's a greater volume of such music being recorded than at any time for the past 15 years, and this debut album from a Danite scion of the 12 Tribes brethren named Teddy Williams bears all the hallmarks of the genre.
