The Beach Boys: Wild Honey, 20/20 and Endless Summer
Paul Williams, Crawdaddy!, November 1974
CAPITOL HAS BEEN repackaging the Beach Boys for a long time, but they haven't done a good job of it since Best Of Volumes I, II and III, all long gone now. This time they hit pay dirt: Endless Summer is the best single early Beach Boys package ever, well-programmed and including almost every track that one could wish for (if one could choose only twenty from the pre-Pet Sounds era).
