The Beach Boys, Jesse Colin Young: Santa Barbara University, CA

"I WISH they all could be California girllls," the Beach Boys sang on a sunny and high spirited Sunday afternoon. It was the perfect setting for a BB show, good weather, good feelings, and most importantly, it was outside. The group played on the football field of the Santa Barbara (a community some 100 miles North of Los Angeles) University and while the band did not live up to past showings, they were nonetheless as magical as ever.
