JOHN LENNON shouted for food, then turned to me in the vast, near-deserted auditorium of Blackpool's ABC theatre. In two hours he and the rest of the Beatles would be seen by the millions of television viewers switched to Blackpool Night Out. He wasn't as nervous as usual, but he was tense and riled at the knockers, who've been having a field day in the past fortnight, hitting at the Beatles' new film and their lack of TV appearances.
