Nick Kent, New Musical Express, 3 November 1979

THURSDAY NIGHT at the Hammersmith Odeon demonstrated Neil Young's recent lyrical contention that "The King is gone but he's not forgotten": The Boomtown Rats utilised an ingenious neon naughts 'n' crosses design based on Elvis Presley's Jailhouse Rock scenery (white neon strips replacing the iron bars in the original flick); support band Protex's logo was a black silhouette of a vintage Elvis shot, legs astride, guitar slung low, hands caressing the microphone.
