The Case for Grand Funk Railroad
Metal Mike Saunders, Fusion, December 1972
I HEARD Grand Funks first album for the first time in November, 1969. I was a freshman in college and a friend down the hall owned a copy. Now and then I would be hanging around his room and On Time would be playing; he liked the album so I later listened to it once and, except for one or two songs, found it pretty boring.
