LIKE MOST under 40/over 20 Americans, the Everly Brothers are very much a part of my life. 'Cathy's Clown' and 'Bye, Bye Love' are not songs you just forget, and I still get excited every time I hear them. Part of the excitement is what the songs represent: the bursting forth of rock and roil, and all that meant.
