The Go-Go's: The Beat And How To Get It (Again)
Erik Himmelsbach, LA Reader, 18 November 1994
"YOU LOOK FAMILIAR," Kathy Valentine says as she scavenges through the remains of what were once many bags of bagels. "We didn't have our way with you on the bus, did we?" Nope, it wasn't me. But Valentine's confusion is understandable. After all, those of us 'lucky' enough to have viewed a certain infamous underground video, in which Valentine and a dazed 'n' confused Belinda Carlisle toy with a Quaaluded male fan, know that these women like to have their way with the opposite sex. The newly reformed Go-Go's may now be a little older and wiser (or at least a bit more discreet), but their bawdy sense of 'fun' remains the same.
