BUSY DOING "nothing much" just prior to Christmas was Kink Mick Avory (an occupational hazard with this group at present) at his home in West Molesey. Welcomed at the door I was introduced to two young nephews as "the man from Father Christmas" by Mick and promptly informed that it had better be a case of Batman suits all round or Uncle Mick's mate would get the full treatment – POW – WHAM – and BLAM!
