The Kinks' Peter Quaife
Keith Altham, NME, 2 April 1965
THERE IS a touch of the "Paul McCartneys" about Peter Quaife of the Kinks. Like Paul he plays bass, and like Paul he is the finest public relations man in the group. Pete is the Kink who always remembers your face and generally your name if you have met before. He's the quickest to put you at your ease, and the first to make his presence felt in the interviews.
