ONCE UPON a time, The Knack was a movie starring (I believe) Michael Caine and Rita Tushingham. Set in swinging London, the plot revolved around this poor schmuck's lack of "the knack" and his comic attempts to get it. "The knack," of course, was the proper way to seduce girls.
