The Motels: Booked Solid

MOST LOCAL BANDS have drawn inspiration from the classic rock bands of the '60s – notably the Rolling Stones and the Who. The chief exception is the Motels, a quintet that combines the commercial catchiness of the Cars, the nervous energy of Talking Heads and Roxy Music's dramatic, darkly romantic aura.
