The Motors Roar Back

THE INNER sleeve of the current Motors album, Tenement Steps, boldly states "The Motors are Andy McMaster [and] Nick Garvey." A demarcating "with" adds a rhythm section (bassist Martin Ace, drummers Terry Williams and Michael Desmarais), but they are clearly hirelings (guest artists, if you're in a charitable mood) – respectable and well-chosen but distinct from the bearers of the band's title.
