What Is The Move? The Move are one of the four or five most magnificent rock and roll bands in England, and therefore in the universe. They have changed personnel as frequently as any English group going, but at the moment of this writing numbered: Roy Wood, who writes, sings, and plays all manner of string and woodwind instruments; Jeff Lynne, who writes, sings, and plays guitar, piano, and assorted others; and Bev Bevan, who plays drums (and on occasion, writes and sings).
