AS THE strains of Zep's 'Kashmir' fade into the gloom, I am confronted by an appalling sight. It is Rose Of Avalanche and, in particular, their singer Phil. Not since the heyday of Mott The Hoople has such a neanderthal brickie ground his meaty thighs in the name of sex 'n' drugs 'n' pie 'n' chips.
