The Scorpions' Rudolf Schenker: An Interview
Joe Matera, Powerplay, 2002
One of metal's most enduring and successful bands, The Scorpions have been taking their German bred metal to the masses for over 35 years now. Slowly building a solid and growing fan base in the '70s, the band finally broke through in a big way in the early '80's, first with 1982's Blackout album, then followed by 1984's mega selling Love At First Sting album. The past few years has seen the band experimenting with their unique sound, first with an orchestra and then in an "unplugged" setting.
