NEW ORLEANS SINGER Chris Kenner looked around at the music scene one day in 1963 and wrote a song called 'The Land Of 1,000 Dances'. He only had room to work the names of 20 or 30 current dances into his lyrics, but probably a thousand more could have been possible.
