JERRY DAMMERS didn't have much sleep last night. Well into the small hours of the morning he'd been labouring over a hot Hammond organ in a makeshift recording studio in his South London flat. He'd been composing a short soundrack for a race riot in Julien Temple's forthcoming film Absolute Beginners.
