THAT'S WHAT THEY called it, and if one were to believe the advance publicity, which spread by word of mouth through the Hollywood environs like some new social disease, this event was destined to be to the glitter movement what the Tribal Stomp was to San Francisco, Shea Stadium to Grand Funk, Woodstock to Charles Reich. On the bill were the New York Dolls, Iggy & the Stooges, the Hollywood Stars, Flo & Eddie, Michael Des Barres of Silverhead.
