ON FEBRUARY 27, 2002, Radiohead designer Stanley Donwood mounted the stage at the Staples Center, Los Angeles, to receive a Grammy for "Best Recording Package" for his work on the curious, book-like sleeve on their Amnesiac album. With him was his closest colleague and creative sidekick, Tchocky. One of the worst-kept secrets in Radiohead circles was thus blown wide open: Tchocky was none other than Thom Yorke.
