NOWADAYS, The Three Johns are often recalled as a side project of Mekons/Waco Brothers instigator Jon Langford. But during their 1982–91 tenure, the hard-rocking 3Js – three gents each named John, plus Hugo the drum machine – were highly regarded both at home in England and abroad.
