Tindersticks: Tindersticks
Ben Thompson, MOJO, December 1993
BETWEEN NICK CAVE AND THE FALL maybe; or separating early Dexys from mid-peri-od Pogues; or even right back alongside Lee Hazlewood and Leonard Cohen no-one quite knows where to file the Tindersticks. Two things are certain: first, that this band are much better than their name, and second that they have just done a very rare thing they've made a debut double album that leaves you wanting more.
