Tom Robinson Band: Live in Los Angeles
Sylvie Simmons, Sounds, 2 June 1979
"EDUCATION", CLAIMS the motto six feet above the head of Tom Robinson for his second time in LA, "is learning to use the tools which the race has found indispensable". Tom is delivering an explanation to a handful of upturned faces of the song 'Blue Murder'. An apt but unfortunate choice of venue, this eighth date on TRB's second US tour at the illustrious seat of learning. More a monologue than audience participation. More a lecture than a rock show.
