Now Tony Christie, who turned 65 in April, has pulled off a classy reinvention with his new album Made In Sheffield, featuring lush arrangements of songs written by Arctic Monkeys, Jarvis Cocker, the album’s co-producer Richard Hawley and other fellow South Yorkshire natives.
