Tower of Power: Bump City (Warner Bros.)
Greg Shaw, Phonograph Record, 1 August 1972
I CAN JUST see the perverse gleam in the editor's eye as he sent me this album to review. He sure knows how to bug me! Whenever I'm forced to think about music like this, I become a veritable Dr. Hyde. My hackles rise, my muscles tense, my jaw sets, my mouth becomes a hard line and my eyes narrow, glaring shafts of icy rage. I can't help it, some things just get on my nerves.
