Troy Keyes
John Abbey, Blues & Soul, October 1971
TROY KEYES had a very successful single in 1967, 'Love Explosions', and has been conspicuous by his absence ever since. "I spent a year with ABC", explained Troy, "and then I quit. I got too frustrated and I think I was heading towards a breakdown. So, I concentrated on writing songs and getting myself ready to do things my own way. I worked hard and saved my money."
