FLY LIKE AN EAGLE was the album which, in 1976, transformed San Francisco-based Stevie "Guitar" Miller from acclaimed critics' favourite to global superstar. Yes, he'd enjoyed a huge hit with The Joker in 1974 but the cold hard fact was that he'd been unable to follow it up successfully. As the decade wore on, Miller knew he had to up his game.
