THE GREATEST night of Warren Zevon's performing life was in the hometown of the boxer, Buster Douglas, after Douglas had become the first man to topple Mike Tyson. Composing and singing a song on the monstrous champion's fall that night for that audience, to rapturous applause, Zevon's fitful hit-making career 'Werewolves Of London' the pinnacle gave up the ghost, as he re-found his folk singer roots.
