EN ROUTE to London, X stopped over in New York in June for a round of interviews and two live performances, at the '80s and Danceteria. With R. Meltzer's rave LP review in the latest VILLAGE VOICE, Robert Palmer lauding their live show in the TIMES, and even tired old WNEW-FM airing their version of 'Soul Kitchen', X's reception was a far cry from the three barely-noticed gigs they played on their previous visit less than a year ago.
