Yes: Yes are Well and Grooving
Andrew Tyler, Disc and Music Echo, 27 May 1972
IN THE basement of Una Billings School of Dancing, Shepherd's Bush, London, Yes are bouncing ideas off each other for a new album. Jon Anderson, their frail vocalist, has most of the ideas. He plays over a new tune on his acoustic guitar – a thing with lots of unexpected changes – and Steve Howe begins weaving a way through with his lead guitar. Bill Bruford has some ideas about rhythms. Chris Squire doesn't say too much and most of what Rick Wakeman offers sort of bounces around the room.
