Ann Moses

Ann Moses began writing about music in Southern California in 1965. She was a freelancer for Rhythm n News, a weekly newspaper sold in music stories. She began working for Tiger Beat Magazine in January 1966 as an Associate Editor and was promoted to Feature Editor in April 1967. On her 21st birthday Ann was named as the official Editor of Tiger Beat. She worked as the Feature Editor of Tiger Beat's Monkee Spectacular monthly from 1967 to 1968.

In 1966 she became a freelance contributor to the New Musical Express, and from 1968 to 1971 was the Hollywood Correspondent for the NME. She contributed her weekly column "America Calling", and many full length interviews. She left Tiger Beat and Hollyweird in 1972 to move to Normalville. She currently blogs about her Hollywood and music memories at www.annmoses.com [link below].

During her years at Tiger Beat, Ann traveled with such groups as Paul Revere and the Raiders, Dino, Desi and Billy, and the Monkees. She spent countless hours on the set of the Monkees' TV show throughout its 2 year run. She also interviewed the "faves" of Tiger Beat readers like Bobby Sherman, David Cassidy, the Osmonds and the Jackson Five.

Once she began contributing to NME, her interviews ranged from James Brown, the Mamas and the Papas and other hit American groups. She interviewed the stars of the British Invasion of America, like the Rolling Stones, the Bee Gees and so many other chart-toppers.
