Carl Magnus Palm
Carl Magnus Palm has devoted most of his music writing to the subject of ABBA. Although the Swedish band was and is one of the most successful bands on the planet, their history had previously not been seriously examined in book form. Palm has written the books ABBA - The Complete Recording Sessions (1994), From ABBA To Mamma Mia! (1999, with Anders Hanser) and Bright Lights, Dark Shadows - The Real Story Of ABBA (2001). He writes the liner notes for most ABBA CDs and DVDs and has contributed pieces on the group for Record Collector. In his native Sweden, Palm has also published books about The Beatles and jazz singer Monica Zetterlund.
