Ben Edmonds, Mojo, July 1998 What were you up to in the studio last night? I was in with the Wu Tang Clan, doing a vocal on a song that might become their next single. They've been trying to get me to do it a long time. They wanted me to come to New York and stay at their compound in Brooklyn. I didn't want to do that, because it put me in mind of the Sly Stone days of getting fucked up and lying around. They said, "When you get here you'll be happy." But I don't work like that; I'm happy when the work is done. But when they came out here to LA we decided to take care of business. They seemed to be big fans of mine, much as I'm learning to be a fan of theirs.
