IN THE CLICHÉ-RIDDEN world of heavy metal, it's sometimes refreshing to encounter a band that redefines the genre without sticking to the tired old formulas. Anthrax were one such outfit, taking the metal scene of the ‘80s by storm and becoming one of the much-worshipped Big Four Of Thrash, along with Metallica, Megadeth and Slayer.
