Dear Beat,

I KNOW YOU get a good deal of mail pertaining to new groups that various people throughout the country feel are talented. Because of the amount of people recording and performing much of the commentary on the various groups becomes lost in over-used adjectives. However, during the last week in November I was able to see an astonishing young man named Tim Buckley perform at the Troubadour Cafe in Los Angeles.
