Alan Price: Fought Back

Keith Altham, New Musical Express, 10 February 1968

THERE ARE few people in pop who deserve as much respect as that truculent Geordie with the big baby face, who speaks through his nose and sings from the heart — Alan Price! He is a person who has picked up the pieces of his life after a great deal of personal unhappiness and professional upset (during his days with the Animals) to lead one of the most listenable bands in Britain.

Total word count of piece: 943
