Alice Cooper: The Killer Comes to Town

Nick Kent, Friends/Frendz, July 1972

Back than, of course, Marc Bolan was still warbling to the minorities with only Steve Took for company, while our own avant-garde cutesie-pie David Bowie was casting mere ripples on the waters of rock'n'roll outrage with nothing more than his Space Oddity, and no-one was getting fat except Jim Morrison, who was also getting busted for obscenity in Miami (how low can you get?).
