A 25-YEAR-old disk jockey and first-generation Briton from the Punjab Province of India, Steve Kapul has been inspired by the music of the West Indies. Using the alias Apache Indian, he deftly interprets the reggae beat as his own. No Reservations has made him a huge star in Britain. And the album, his first, is yet another argument in favor of cross-culturalism in pop music.
