THE FIRST I REMEMBER HEARING OF JEFF BECK was when he was in The Yardbirds, around the time Clapton and Jimmy Page were coming up through that whole Richmond scene. After that, there was the period of the first Beck band with Rod Stewart on vocals, before we came to know of the latter as every tottie's fave male chauv.
