AMERICANS HAVE never heard of Blancmange: they can't buy it in shops and they can't pronounce it. If Neil Arthur and Stephen Luscombe are to enlighten them, it won't be with performances like this. Their New York debut was a damp fizzle that offered little for the eyes and left the dance floor deeply unimpressed.
