Bobby Womack: Understanding (United Artists)

Loraine Alterman, The New York Times, 22 October 1972

Certainly Womack has paid his dues, starting out in partnership with his brothers in the Valentinos, touring and playing guitar with the late Sam Cooke, writing 'It's All Over Now', which was a big record for the Rolling Stones, and recording with stars like Aretha Franklin and Wilson Pickett.
