THE PROBLEM with rock and roll music, and the culture that surrounds it, is that few people take it very seriously. Maybe that's because rock and roll is a young person's form of expression. Anything to do with youth "can't possibly" be considered in the same breath as art!! Even the moguls of the fickle fashion business get away with a respectability denied their pop music counterparts.
