IT SEEMS, at the present at any rate, there's no escaping The Crass Phenomenon. The "alternative charts" (the accurate few at that!) see them emerging ever-more sales-worthy, whole ranks of limp fanzines (regrettably, all too many) in awe print their manifestos verbatim (the vilest, laziest form of communication imaginable) and, finally, the music press now draws its own conclusions as it awakens to the hot poop and profundities of this thing called Crass.
