Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young: Winterland, San Francisco CA

Wayne Robins, The Berkeley Barb, 21 November 1969

CROSBY STILLS Nash and Young are good enough to make you glad that Buffalo Springfield couldn't hack it. The dynamic one-two punch of that group, Steven Stills and Neil Young, have come together again, with the seemingly limitless talents of former Byrd David Crosby and ex-Hollie Graham Nash, to form the most engaging and well rounded group in America today. Thursday night at over-stuffed Winterland they entrapped their audience in a web of soft and soulful song which made the normal crises of an evening at Winterland all the more tolerable.
