"Do you think there are any Republicans here?" We are on the queue for Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young's Freedom of Speech show, and the woman behind us has chosen to make conversation. My companion, herself belonging to the party of both Lincoln and Bush, squeezes my hand and rolls her eyes as if to say "do not engage...." a gesture our neighbor does not detect.
