PAUL WELLER knows his place. Despite meaning a lot of things to a lot of people, he was more than reluctant to share the stage with a proverbial soul legend. Mayfield called for "shy guy" Weller to leave his seat and join him on the planks for a closing 'Move On Up' — an additional microphone was brought on and had to be quietly removed, unused, at the end of the song when it became clear the Style Councillor was staying out.
