THERE WAS an interview with Mick Jagger in some magazine or other recently in which the ageing plutocrat titteringly told of how Dr John had tried to sell him songs for fifty bucks apiece a few months previously. Judging by their respective recent releases, one can't help feeling that maybe he should have taken the good Doctor up on his offer.
