DR JOY DEGRUY coined the term Post Traumatic Slave Syndrome to describe the multi-generational trauma experienced by African Americans as a consequence of slavery. Eric Bibb explores a similar theme on 'The Right Thing', a track from Jericho Road, his finest album yet.
